Bands on the Bay

  Dance to the Caribbean steel drumming of Orlando Phillips and acoustic rock of the Doug Segree Band, meet the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders and bid in a live and silent auction at the eighth annual Bands on the Bay to benefit the Hunter Nelson Sturge-Weber Center at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. 1-6pm at Herrington on the Bay, 7151 Lake Shore Dr., Rose Haven. $100 w/rsvp discounts: 240-375-6106; 

Sail Free

  Don’t let disabilities stop you from sailing the high seas at the Chesapeake Region Accessible Boats first Sail Free, where people of all abilities, their families and caregivers sail on the Bay.
