Greek Festival

It’s all Greek at the Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church’s four-day festival celebrating the birthplace of democracy. Feast under a tent or indoors on moussaka, loukoumades, plaki, souvlaki, gyros and crispy honeyed baklava sundaes. Watch youth groups demonstrate Greek and Cypriot folk dances. Imbibe ouzo, tour the church, peruse books, icons and traditional jewelry at a craft sale, buy raffle tickets. Friday afternoon, carry out lunch to enjoy Greek culture at work (410-573-2072).

Participants will learn about complications that are associated with diabetes, as well as learn to manage their blood sugar and understand the relationship between food and blood-sugar levels. Heartsaver AED

Event Date:  July 24, 2013 - 6:00pm - 9:00pm The Heartsaver AED course teaches CPR, AED use, relief of choking in adults and children, and infant CPR and relief of choking, as well as the use of barrier devices for all ages.
