Bull & Shrimp Feast

Glide on Parkers Creek

American Chestnut Land Trust guides you out on Parkers Creek, where you’ll paddle thru waters in swamps to coastal salt marsh on this pristine freshwater stream. Bring water and a snack. Be prepared for a possibly strenuous three-hour paddle; you may have to help carry the canoe to reach the creek. 12:30-3pm at Warrior’s Rest Sanctuary, Scientists’ Cliffs Rd., Port Republic.

Worth the Trip Seafood Festival

The main business at Tilghman Island’s annual Seafood Festival is eating. Events include trot-line baiting contests, hard-crab races, a crab-picking contest and the crowning of Little Miss Tilghman and Miss Tilghman (3pm) and a Firemen’s parade (5pm). Bird Dog and the Road Kings play and vendors sell. Sponsored by Tilghman Volunteer Fire Company. 11am-7pm at Kronsberg Park, Tilghman Island.

Car Wash & BBQ
