Glide on Parkers Creek

American Chestnut Land Trust guides you out on Parkers Creek, where you’ll paddle thru waters in swamps to coastal salt marsh on this pristine freshwater stream. Bring water and a snack. Be prepared for a possibly strenuous three-hour paddle; you may have to help carry the canoe to reach the creek. Chesapeake Pride Festival

Celebrate being Gay on the Bay by supporting the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender community at the Chesapeake Pride Festival. Dress up or vote for your favorite contestant at the Drag King/Queen contest; listen to live music all day; browse chromed machines at the Straight Eights Car show; and peruse the wares of local crafters.
