Pre-Labor Day Elks Parade

Listen for the drums for the annual Elks Club parade, starting at Amos Garrett Blvd and West St., continuing down to Calvert St., then left onto Calvert St. to the review stand. 3-5pm, Downtown Annapolis, free:

First Sunday Arts Festival

The party’s on at West Street Annapolis as the cobblestone streets fill with live music, street performers, over 100 artists and crafters and sidewalk dining; leashed pets welcome. Free parking at Calvert garage. 11am-5pm, West St., Calvert St. to Church Circle, Annapolis:

Mayo Beach Open

58th Annual Deal Island Skipjack Race and Festival

Skipjack races and fresh cooked clams, fish and crab dishes fill Labor Day Weekend. Watch boats sail into port, admire classic cars, dance to live music, bid at silent auctions and enjoy carnival rides, compete in fishing tournament and swim races. Islandfest Concert kicks off the weekend Sa (6pm); Su features a parade (1pm), Deal Island, free (fees for some activities):

Maryland Renaissance Festival
