The Clazzical Project Outside the Bachs

Event Date:  July 28, 2017 - 8:00pm - 10:00pm Classical music in jazz arrangements? Yes! Don Stapleson (flute), Pete Fields (guitar), Fred Lieder (cello) and guest pianist Brian Ganz perform Debussy's Reverie, Mozart's Minuet in F, Bach's Minuet in G, C.P.E. Bach's Solfeggietto and other works. First Ganz plays the original classical piece, then Stapleson follows with brief commentary on jazz treatments, and then Clazzical Project offers their jazz interpretation. Cross-over? COSMIC Symphony Family Concert

Event Date:  March 5, 2017 - 4:00pm - 6:00pm COSMIC Symphony Orchestra presents their annual Family concert. The Concert will feature the winner of the annual Young Artists Competition. In addition, the orchestra will perform the North American premier of Mieczyslaw Weinberg’s “The Suite of 1950”, Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Capriccio Espangol”, and Prokofiev’s “The Montagues and Capulets” from Romeo and Juliet. USNA Band's Clarinet Quartet

Event Date:  November 1, 2015 - 3:00pm - 4:00pm The Naval Academy Band will present a program of clarinet music on Sunday, November 1 at 3:00 p.m. at Christ Our Anchor Presbyterian Church in Annapolis, MD. The Clarinet Quartet is made up of members of the USNA Band clarinet section, and performs traditional and contemporary clarinet quartet literature. The group utilizes all of the instruments from the clarinet family, including E-flat Soprano Clarinet, B-flat Clarinet, Basset Horn, E-flat Alto Clarinet, and B-flat Bass Clarinet. The Clarinet Quartet is led by Chief Musician Sheila Cullen.
