Growing up Afro Reception • free

See African American children of old in pictures from the archives of The Afro-American newspaper, the second-longest-running black periodical in the U.S., to celebrate the paper’s 121st birthday. Meet the Afro staff and enjoy refreshments at today’s reception (1-3pm). Bring a copy of your favorite childhood memory to add to the exhibit (Items will not be returned). Paper Flower Class
