We’ll focus on the bats found in Maryland, their behavior and ecology, and debunk some of the common myths surrounding these wonderful – not scary – creatures. For those a bit timid, we’ll have plenty of rum beforehand! Presentation by Irvine’s Naturalist Sara Mills. Beverages, cocktails and a simple dinner will be served. Sorry, no children at this event. Migration & Margaritas

Event Date:  March 7, 2013 - 6:30pm - 9:30pm Join your friends at Irvine Nature Center for an evening of food, drink and fascinating facts about the marvels of bird migration. Learn how some of your own backyard birds can fly thousands of miles to Mexico (the land of Margaritas) without a map or compass – a truly remarkable achievement!
