Honey bees are fascinating to watch, and beekeeping is a great family activity. Plus, honeybees make gardens and fruit trees more productive, and the honey they produce is delicious! This 2-session course will cover everything you need in order to have thriving bees from the start, including equipment, honey bee biology, dealing with stings, year-round management, swarm control, diseases and honey extracting. Great for beginning and intermediate beekeepers, or anyone generally interested in honey bees.
