Back to School Bash

Event Date:  August 25, 2018 - 6:00pm - 9:30pm Enjoy an evening with your neighbors and friends before the kids go back to school. There will be lots of games for all ages. Hots dogs and chips will be served. The first 50 elementary age children will receive a back to school pouch of supplies. "Sundae" Sunday at Capt. Avery Museum

July 15, 2018 - 1:00pm - 4:00pm The Anne Arundel County SPCA mobile unit will bring some special four-legged guests to the July 15 "Sundae" Sunday at the Capt. Avery Museum in Shady Side. In addition to meeting and petting these adoptable animals, kids and adults can play lawn games, grab a canvas for sketching in the garden, play in the misting tent, and indulge in an ice cream sundae. 1-4 pm. Mike and Kelly Lange are a husband and wife ukulele duo. Lifelong boaters, Mike & Kelly sing original and classic material, some with a maritime theme and some with a broader reach. Mike has played thousands of gigs in the mid-Atlantic and a handful overseas during the past several decades. Over the years he has performed with many popular bands in the Baltimore/Washington area both as a bandleader, member, and freelance musician.
