Easter Egg Hunt & Animal Tours

Event Date:  March 28, 2015 - 2:00pm - 4:00pm Did you know that the King Charles spaniel dog were originally owned by royalty or that parrots were used as a symbol of wealth? In this family friendly tour participants will join an animal tour of the house and hear how different animals symbolize different things in our collection items such as paintings, chairs, and everyday objects. After the tour children will go on an Easter egg hunt out in the garden and have the opportunity to paint the eggs using pictures of animals they saw in our collection items as inspiration.
