Cruise to the St. Michaels Wine Festival

Hear 14-time Grammy-award winner Ricky Skaggs headlining this year’s 13th annual Live on the Farm Benefit Concert with locals’ favorite The Hard Travelers opening the show. Concert benefits Maryland Therapeutic Riding’s mission as a safe place where people with disabilities can gain self-confidence and have fun while riding and spending time with horses. Enjoy food, drinks and demonstrations by a therapeutic rider and bid at silent and live auctions. Barn doors open at 5:30pm; music starts at 7:30pm at Maryland Therapeutic Riding, Crownsville.

Calvert Watermen’s Festival

Watermen compete in boat docking competitions for cash, prizes and trophies at the 12th Annual Waterman’s Festival. Celtic Celebration at Renaissance Fest

This weekend’s Celtic celebration adds Celtic music by North Sea Glass and the Wallace Band, dancing and caber toss. Feast on mutton, steak and ale and cheesecake on a stick from their majesties’ kitchens. Watch strolling jugglers, duelers and madrigals, and favor a knight at the daily joust.
