Great hikes just minutes from downtown Annapolis with Scenic Rivers Land Trust! Bacon Ridge Natural Area is Anne Arundel County’s newest park but not yet fully open to the public. Nine-hundred+ acres in Crownsville, it is graced with upland streams, lily-filled ponds, nesting birds and spring wild flowers. Hikes range from one to four miles on marked trails. Bird and nature guides, as well as tours of historic cemetery, are available throughout the weekend as well.
