Sam’s on the Waterfront
You’re always on the water at Sam’s on the Waterfront. The water view of the big boats in the marina at Chesapeake Harbour never goes away. What does change is the season, and each season brings new specialties to Sam’s.

“We offer a fresh, local, creative, seasonal menu on the water in a casual atmosphere,” Parks says. Since taking over five years ago, he’s transformed Sam’s into a more “casual everyday restaurant that still provides the same quality of food — if not better.”
“You can come for burgers and beers or a four-course tasting menu,” Parks says. Favorite dishes are lobster mac and cheese and Kobe burgers.
“What I like the best,” says Parks, “is hearing from customers. This week alone, more than half of our dining room was new customers — and they loved it. When you can satisfy someone in all aspects, that’s the best.”
Sam’s is also the first restaurant in Anne Arundel County to be awarded a green certificate, Sam’s purchases the majority of its food from local farmers and merchants.
