The free event includes lunch and caters to topics effecting students who attend local public or private middle school and high schools. This year’s theme, “H3: It’s All About Me: Healthy Choices, Healthy Living, and Healthy Generations,” will allow program participants to be educated on Financial Goal Setting by Daryl Mackay from TEAMESTEEM as well as include a youth focused workshop on Human Trafficking. Youth will also have the opportunity to participate in an interactive Fashion Show called “What Not To Wear.”

The event will also encourage students to seek Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) opportunities with a panel discussion featuring young adults from the DC Metropolitan Area. Participants are invited to bring donations of new AA batteries, which will be donated to Charles County Public Schools and their STEM initiatives.
