Baltimore Faerie Faire

Event Date:
May 20, 2017 - 11:00am - 7:00pm

Baltimore Faire Faire is a Celebration of Imagination and Wonder in the City.

The Baltimore Faerie Faire is a day long festival that will happen on the grounds of the Church of the Guardian Angel on May 20, 2017 from 11am -7pm with a Fairy Masquerade Ball May 19 at 8pm. Address: 2629 Huntingdon Avenue Baltimore, MD 21211

Are there mermaids in the harbor? Have you wondered where the flower fairies went when we poured all the cement? Are there still Elves, perhaps in disguise, hanging out in the alleys? On this day, celebrate and balance between the concrete and the dirt, the practical and the fantastic. Feel free to come in costume, or buy one there!

There will be entertainers, including musicians, storytellers, an embassy from the land of Goblins (you won’t want to miss them), and Mermaids! Art and craft vendors can sell you wings, jewelry, wands, flower crowns, natural soaps and more. You can can get your face painted or visit the court of the Faerie Queene. The Faire is open from 11am-7pm. Admission is $15, or $5 for kids 4-14.

On Friday the 19th, the night before the Faire, there will be a Fairy Masquerade Ball that runs from 8-11pm with live music, a photo booth, amazing costumes and vendors. The Ball is aimed at the grown-ups, and tickets to that are $15 in advance, or $20 at the door. Baltimore Faerie Faire hopes to create a welcoming space for young and old, dreamers and doers, artists and patrons of the arts.
