The World Artists Experiences film festival’s forth film is Koi no shizuku [For Love’s Sake], from Japan (2018). It offers a light-hearted combination of romantic, culinary, and family dramas. A Tokyo University student., due to an unfortuante incident in college, detests sake, but eventually becomes involved in its production. There is also a romantic interest. The film eventually features an ensemble cast of complex characters dealing with multiple personal issues. Koi no shizuku also shows us how sake is made through dedication, intense labor, and teamwork. We see how sake is enjoyed as a central part of Japanese culture
