Jazz at The Mezz October 16!

Jazz Beyond Borders and Cafe Mezzanotte presents the… Jazz at The Mezz dinner concert series! Our next Jazz Dinner Concert will be on Sunday, October 16 featuring Award-winning Quebecoise vocalist Lynn Veronneau and guitarist Ken Avis are joined by acclaimed jazz and world musicians Karine Chapdelaine (bass), and Manny Arciniega (percussion) to interpret the music of Joni Mitchell’s Blue and Carole King’s Tapestry. Recorded simultaneously, in the same studio in 1971, the milestone albums changed American music forever; marking the end of the 1960’s while putting women vocalist-composers center-stage. They reached across generations; appealing to a new and wider audience of music lovers, attracting loyal listeners from around the world. Join us for the soulful, jazz flavored sounds of “Blue Tapestry.” Seatings for this indoor show are at 4:30pm and 7:00pm.
