DESCRIPTION:Do you know a child who loves to sing? We will be auditioning children ages 5 ½ and up who are interested in an exciting choral program. CCM features highly qualified teachers\, small classes & in-depth vocal enrichment\, providing a complete musical education and choral experience. Previous singing experience is not necessary! Auditions will be scheduled throughout the summer. In addition to a scheduled audition\, you will receive access to our special welcome and audition Sneak Peek E-Package\, including a sample audition\, interactive singing exercises\, and fun songs to learn at home! DESCRIPTION:Please join a virtual lecture to commemorate the anniversary of the 1776 Battle of Brooklyn\, given by Owen Lourie\, who has been heading the project at the Archives to identify the names of these brave Revolutionary War soldiers from Maryland. This talk chronicles the Maryland 400\, the soldiers who saved George Washington’s army at the Battle of Brooklyn in August 1776. It describes their actions\, including their famous last stand against the British. This multimedia presentation draws on both Hamilton’s biography and his depiction on stage to examine his accomplishments\, discuss his relationship with Aaron Burr\, and reflect on the accuracy of the musical. It includes recordings from the musical’s soundtrack and interviews with its creators.\nJoin Historic Annapolis for this entertaining two-hour presentation with Dr. Dan Sherman (there will be a short intermission).
