At the covered Main Stage\, you will find a top notch line-up of musicians presenting the best in jazz\, blues\, roots\, indie\, folk\, soul\, fusion\, old-time\, and bluegrass\, to name but a few!  For those who love a more intimate setting\, don’t miss performances in the beautiful Council Ring and the charming Creekside Overlook.  If you have youngsters in your group\, stop by the Fairy Lolly Pavilion to play with bubbles or make your own music!  Artsfest is a family-friendly festival with a wide variety of activities for all ages.  Visit the Discovery Tent\, where creative\, hands-on activities for all ages can be found.  The nearby Zany Zone and Patio Play Area will keep the kids occupied while adults enjoy the Main Stage music and a drink.  And don’t forget to stop in the Studio School and the Clay Studio to enjoy a variety of creative activities.  Other artful activities and surprises can be found hidden along the shady paths and grassy lawns of the festival. SUMMARY:Dee of St. Mary's Public Sail
DESCRIPTION:The museum offers 2-hour public sails aboard the historic vessel Dee of St. Mary’s. This is a great way to experience the Patuxent River aboard an iconic Chesapeake Bay Skipjack. The Dee of St. Mary’s is a sailing skipjack used in the museum’s Chesapeake Bay Field Lab programs. All sails depart from the CMM dock\, weather permitting. Advance reservations are required by noon the Friday prior to the sail. On the day of your scheduled sail\, please arrive 20 minutes early.
