DESCRIPTION:Join Annapolis Maritime Museum for their 4th week of the Winter Lecture Series featuring speaker Pete Lesher\, chief curator at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. Pete will walk us through Maryland’s rich heritage of wooden shipbuilding over the course of three centuries developed with regionally specific designs\, materials\, & techniques. He will also review the regional aspects of this once-vital industry and shed light on the significance of the construction of the Maryland Dove.
