DESCRIPTION:Crickets is back in person this fall! Sign up today at www.ccmsings.org. Crickets Music and Play Program\, for children ages 4 to 6\, engages the body and the mind in joyful music-making. Highly-trained trained teachers gently encourage very young children to explore the voice as their first true instrument through play\, games\, and movement. We offer small classes limited to 8 children each\, and this fall it will run for 10 weeks with Thanksgiving week off. Classes start Saturday\, September 25th with a 9:30 or 10:40 AM start time at the Children’s Chorus of Maryland in downtown Towson.

DESCRIPTION:The Colonial Players\, Inc. of Annapolis\, Maryland is pleased to announce the beginning of their Season 73\, with the upcoming fall production of Lauren Gunderson’s The Revolutionists\, directed by Jennifer Cooper. \nThe Revolutionists takes place in Paris at the height of the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror. It’s 1793\, and time to meet four beautiful\, bad-ass women: former queen Marie Antoinette\, assassin Charlotte Corday\, playwright Olympe de Gouges\, and Caribbean spy Marianne Angelle. This grand and dream-tweaked comedy is about violence and legacy\, art and activism\, feminism and terrorism\, and compatriots and chosen sisters. The jury’s still out on who really runs the world\, but these four ladies sure as hell changed it.
