DESCRIPTION:We’re collecting new and gently used shoes for distribution to small business owners in countries such as Haiti\, Dominican Republic\, and Ghana. We will gladly receive shoes for men\, women\, and children. Sneakers\, sandals\, shoes\, boots\, and cleats are welcome donations. Our first “drive by and drop off” event will be on Saturday\, October 9 (10:00 to noon). You can also stop by our church anytime to place your donation in the collection bin on our deck.

Save loads of dough making your own custom flavors and experiment with season produce and spices. Learn the ins and outs of the basic technique and how you can create that probiotic\, detoxifying\, naturally fizzy\, slightly sweet and sour drink we’ve all come to crave! After a demonstration and of course some samples\, you’ll go home with a starter kit to replicate and reproduce a never-ending supply of homemade kombucha! There is very little hands-on time and only simple everyday ingredients required once you gain the knowledge and the starter kit during this workshop.

Located in our arena\, over thirty local breweries\, distilleries\, wineries\, artisans\, and vendors come together to create a large\, open-air market for visitors to enjoy. Come to the farm and enjoy supporting FHHR and some of our favorite local businesses! We will also be joined by award winning author\, Valerie Ormond! \nVisitors 21 and over can purchase a Drink Ticket for $25 and includes a free FHHR tasting glass. Drink Tickets also include 2 free tastings at each brewery\, winery\, or distillery. If you’d rather not drink\, we have a discounted Designated Driver/Non-Drink Ticket for $20. Children 15 and younger can visit for free! This year our Family Fun Area will be better than ever and it is again FREE!
