DESCRIPTION:Our weekly summer camps are hosted by The Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts this summer. This affords us access to its wonderful facilities to bring our students professional theater training in a safe environment. Summer Camp classes are taught by accredited teachers with a B. A or Master’s degree in theatre\, have teaching experience and work in the professional theater world. Summer camps are 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.\, Monday – Friday. DESCRIPTION:The Annapolis Arts Alliance presents their 14th Annual Juried Exhibit at the Willow Gallery at Quiet Waters Park\, entitled Wild About Wildlife. More than 40 artists from the Annapolis Arts Alliance will have their artwork on display and for sale\, representing a variety of different mediums\, including oil\, acrylic and watercolor painters\, mixed media/collage\, and 3-D artists such as jewelers and potters. The exhibit runs from 8/16-10/1 with the opening reception on 8/20 from 1:30-3:30.

DESCRIPTION:Excitement is just around the corner! The 142nd Maryland State Fair\, open for three long weekends this summer: Aug. 24-27; Aug. 31- Sept. 4; and\, Sept. 7-10. The Maryland State Fair is a fun and educational destination sure to captivate visitors of all ages. The Maryland State Fair is complete with daily home arts\, farm and garden\, livestock and horse competitions and exhibits\, rides\, games\, live concerts and entertainment\, live Thoroughbred horse racing\, fair treats and farm fresh foods\, the U-Learn Agriculture Education Zone\, The Birthing Center\, a museum\, and more. Building\, Carnival\, Livestock/ Horse Show times vary. No admission after 9 PM. After 6 pm anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or over.
