DESCRIPTION:As part of the free ICONS in Transformation art exhibit\, St. Martin’s is also hosting a special concert with pianist Thomas Keesecker on Wednesday\, May 10 at 7 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public. His arrangements of Christian hymns and insightful theological reflections will be music to your ears!\nThomas retired in 2019 after serving as a church musician for over 40 years in Lutheran and Roman Catholic parishes in Virginia\, Montana\, and Maryland. He studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and the Catholic University School of Music in Washington\, D.C. DESCRIPTION:Make plans now because renowned U.S. Naval Academy Organist Monte Maxwell is taking over the organ bench at St. Martin’s on Sunday\, May 21 at 3 p.m. as part of the ICONS in Transformation art exhibit. This concert is free and open to the community.  \nMonte is the Chapel Organist and Director of Chapel Music and Midshipmen Symphony Orchestra at the U.S. Naval Academy. He has a bachelor’s degree in music from Texas Christian University\, an artist diploma from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia\, and a master’s degree in music from the Juilliard School of Music in New York City.
