His arrangements of Christian hymns and insightful theological reflections will be music to your ears!\nThomas retired in 2019 after serving as a church musician for over 40 years in Lutheran and Roman Catholic parishes in Virginia\, Montana\, and Maryland. He studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and the Catholic University School of Music in Washington\, D.C. DESCRIPTION:Make plans now because renowned U.S. Naval Academy Organist Monte Maxwell is taking over the organ bench at St. Martin’s on Sunday\, May 21 at 3 p.m. as part of the ICONS in Transformation art exhibit. This concert is free and open to the community.  \nMonte is the Chapel Organist and Director of Chapel Music and Midshipmen Symphony Orchestra at the U.S. Naval Academy. He has a bachelor’s degree in music from Texas Christian University\, an artist diploma from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia\, and a master’s degree in music from the Juilliard School of Music in New York City. DESCRIPTION:The Annapolis Arts Alliance presents their 14th Annual Juried Exhibit at the Willow Gallery at Quiet Waters Park\, entitled Wild About Wildlife. More than 40 artists from the Annapolis Arts Alliance will have their artwork on display and for sale\, representing a variety of different mediums\, including oil\, acrylic and watercolor painters\, mixed media/collage\, and 3-D artists such as jewelers and potters. The exhibit runs from 8/16-10/1 with the opening reception on 8/20 from 1:30-3:30.

DESCRIPTION:PAINTINGS  |  PHOTOGRAPHS  |  WATERCOLORS  |  WOODCUTS \nTERRY ANDERSON  |  AVA OELKE  |  JIMMY ROUSE|  LOU ROUSE \nDr. Howard Kelly – original owner of the Liriodendron – first visited Ahmic Lake\, in Ontario\, Canada in 1891. Dr. Kelly built the first camp on the 12 mile lake located 4 hours north of Toronto\, and his family and descendants have enjoyed summers there for over 120 years. \nThe Rouse family began going to Ahmic Lake in 1954\, first renting and then owning a camp close to the Kelly compound. \nThis collection of paintings\, photographs\, watercolors\, and woodcuts by members of the Kelly and Rouse families features the beauty of this very special place. The exhibit will be on view every Wednesday from 1 to 6 pm through September 27 and on Sunday\, September 10 from 11 am to 3 pm.
