Go to marylandcyclingclassic.us for all the details. \nFull Calendar Listing:\nThe first-ever Maryland Cycling Classic supported by UnitedHealthcare is America’s top one-day professional cycling race taking place on Sunday\, September 4\, 2022 in Baltimore\, Md. Featuring 16 teams of world class athletes\, including Tour de France participants\, National Champions\, World Champions and Olympians from over 25 countries\, the Maryland Cycling Classic will take riders on a 120-mile journey starting in scenic Baltimore County at Kelly Benefits Strategy headquarters (Sparks\, Md.) and through a four-lap\, 7+ mile circuit in Central Baltimore before finishing in the Inner Harbor area of downtown Baltimore. There are a multitude of good spots to catch the race action along the route. \nThe Maryland Cycling Classic is part of a four-day weekend of family-friendly community events from Thursday\, September 1 – Sunday\, September 4\, including: a series of regional elementary school visits by athletes featuring bike and helmet safety curriculum for local students; a community bike ride for all ages taking place near Patterson Park on Thursday; the Team Introduction ceremony where fans can meet the riders on Friday evening; the Bridges of Hope ride – a charity ride that will take riders through parts of the professional course and benefits the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation on Saturday; and an interactive health and wellness festival with food and drinks that will be open to fans throughout the afternoon during the race on Sunday.
