SUMMARY:"Lines. An Exhibit by David Brault" Ticketed Reception
DESCRIPTION:What’s included: \nA 30-minute intimate gallery experience\nWine\nQ & A with David Brault\nAbout David: \nAlthough I’m interested in all sorts of art\, oil painting and pen/ink drawing are my passion. Landscapes are a favorite subject often reflecting the many travel opportunities I’ve had with the United States Navy and the rural countryside of Maryland. \nRecently\, I’ve been exploring the study of line\, form\, composition\, and contrast through pen/ink drawing. These drawings include a variety of marks\, text\, and personal messages. Surfaces include paper\, coffee cups\, and a paper mask. \nMy goal is to share my passion with the viewer. \nDavid Brault is a native of rural Illinois and Navy veteran who lives and paints in Edgewater\, Maryland. He began drawing as a child motivated by encouragement from family and friends. He is continually inspired by the many many artists\, instructors\, and teachers he’s met in the Annapolis area. \nMostly self-taught\, his art education includes classes at Arundel Community College\, Maryland Hall\, group painting and drawing sessions as a member of the Muddy Creek Artists Guild\, West River Painters\, and life drawing sessions in the United Kingdom. \nContact: david.brault.art@gmail.com \nFacebook: david.brault.art \nIf you cannot attend this event but would like to visit the exhibit\, please make an appointment using this link: https://square.site/book/LQJYN8FQXHMN4/the-gallery-at-maryland-theatre-for-the-performing-arts-annapolis-md \nIf you have any questions please contact MC3’s Director of Programming\, Jemma Lehner at jemmalehner@MC3Annapolis.org \nAbout the gallery at Maryland Cultural and Conference Center: \nThe Gallery at MC3 is located at 3 Park Place\, Suite 4 Annapolis\, MD 21401.
