SUMMARY:Twelfth Night Revels at Mount Harmony United Methodist Church
DESCRIPTION:The Great Hall of an old Lord of the castle. The stage is set in live greenery\, a tree\, etc. Many candles\, rich fabrics decorate stage\, entrance and reception room. This production will celebrate the traditional music\, songs\, dance and ritual that have been passed down through time all around the world on the night in which the three Magi visited the Christ child.\nOur Revels show will feature the ancient sacred and secular tunes dating from the 13th to 17th centuries. Poetry and prose will be taken from excerpts by William Shakespeare and other Old World sources. The story of the Christ Child will be related in the manner of a folktale tradition rather than read as scripture.\nProcessionals and rituals are part of a traditional Christmas Revels. Certain carols will be presented in a fashion to encourage the audience to sing along. We will also include English country dancing in an effort to get the audience up on their feet and dancing with us.\nAfter each performance we will offer a giant bowl of warm wassail and Twelfth Night Cakes (American palates differ from that of the British Isles so we will present our own tasty renditions). This will give the audience time to enjoy refreshments while mingling with our costumed performers.

SUMMARY:Crimes of the Heart
DESCRIPTION:The three Magrath sisters are back together in their hometown of Hazelhurst\, Mississippi in the mid 1970’s. Lenny\, the eldest\, never left Hazelhurst — she is the caretaker of the sisters’ cantankerous Old Granddaddy. Meg\, the middle sister\, left home to pursue stardom as a singer in Los Angeles\, but has\, so far\, only found happiness at the bottom of a bottle. And Babe\, the youngest\, has just been arrested for shooting her husband. SUMMARY:NYE with Sweet Leda\, Lower Case Blues and Ron Holloway
DESCRIPTION:Tonight we’re gonna party like it’s Twenty-Twenty Two. \nSweet Leda knows how to get the party started – moving and grooving with an undeniably contagious energy that nearly leaps off the stage\, as front-woman Julie Cymek often does. Cymek’s deep\, bluesy wail is familiar and fun\, a bopping\, rhythmic sneer that’s just as much Mary J. Blige as it is Janis Joplin. From smooth and sultry to jumpin and bumpin\, Sweet Leda blends new-school funk and soul with old-school blues and rock into a stew so red hot\, you can feel the flavor from the first lick. \nTouring the mid Atlantic regularly for over a decade\, Sweet Leda has shared the stage with artists such as Galactic\, Robert Randolph\, 311\, Maceo Parker\, and Jefferson Starship\, picking up five Tri State Indie Music Awards\, a Groupie’s Choice Award\, and more along the way. This band loves to jam and often features regular guest players and singers\, including the incomparable Ron Holloway on tenor sax. \nLower Case Blues is a jammin’ trio that plays a new fusion of old blues\, funk\, and rock! \nSince 2003 lOWER cASE bLUES has been giving Delaware and the tri-state area some of the best blends of blues and rock music and played with amazing artists from around the world. \nPremium High Tops have 4 high-top bar stools at a high-top table. \nGeneral admission (standing) is $30 per person.\nReserved High Tops (seated) is $40 per person. \nGet here early\, Cult Classic has 15+ beers on tap brewed in house\, a full kitchen with from-scratch pizza\, hand-pattied burgers and fresh-never-frozen jumbo wings\, and a FULL BAR to get you through this most kickoff to 2023. \nDoors open at 7:00 PM\nMusic starts at 8:00 PM \nChampagne toast at midnight for any attendees still rockin’ in the New Year \nThis is a standing show. (Unless you have purchased a reserved seat at a table)\nIf you have accessibility or special accommodation issues\, please alert our staff at the door\n5 minutes before showtime\, any unchecked tickets may be made available to our standby list\nCult Classic shows are all ages unless otherwise noted.\nPups are allowed on our patio\, but not within the building.
