Overcoming Mental and Physical Pain – Annapolis Half-day Retreat 10am-1pm Saturday Nov 16, 2019
We all want pain to stop, but it comes like waves. However, the experience of pain can either intensify or reduce depending upon our insight into its origin and nature, and whether or not we can make it spiritually meaningful. Buddha explained how to grow spiritually from the

experience of pain, and he taught effective methods to reduce our mental and physical suffering. This retreat will present some of these methods and includes guided meditations for healing the body and mind.

Cost: $25 per person ($20 for students, seniors 60+ and unemployed)
Free for members Student-Level or Benefactor-Level
