Kids’ Stuff

First Night is not just for adults. Sure, they’ll try and tell you about all the fun things they get to do, but there is a whole world waiting for you, too.

At First Night, not only can you get your face painted, learn about costumes and make-up in theater classes with professional actors (maybe a future movie star!) but you can also discover your wild side and march in the midnight parade. And there is so much more to do. By the time the fireworks go off you’ll be so tired you’ll want to fall asleep. But you can’t, because you’ll have to walk the adults back to the car. You know how they get if they stay up too late.

Children’s Theater Improv: Colonial Players
Learn what it takes to put a show together. These great actors can teach you everything you need.

Enchanted Forest Children’s Fun:
At Imagination/Creation Station, make animal masks and puppets of animals from folk tales. Wear your mask in the March to Midnight Parade.

Face Painters
Get your face painted in wild colors by one of the First Night Face Painters.

Interactive Children’s Music Experience:
At Instrument Petting Zoo, discover the hidden rock star within as you play instruments from around the world

And MUCH more …
3pm-2004 thruout downtown Annapolis. Adults pay $20 w/advance discounts. Kids under 6 or in kindergarten thru fourth grade in Anne Arundel County free: 410/268-8553 • www.firstnightannapolis.org.
