You can tell a lot about people from their writing. Despite their differences, Sens. John McCain and Barrack Obama share a common interest in public image, which is conveyed in their signatures. - Each writes his first name larger than his last. - Each signs in the center of the page with big initials. - Ambiguity obscures both signatures and individual letters within their text, lending privacy to the signatures and loopholes to the messages.
