“Each week,” says the Conservancy’s Jody Couser, “we highlight interesting, unusual and off-the-beaten-path events taking place from the mouth of the Chesapeake to the Susquehanna and everywhere in between. Cruises in Maryland, hikes in the Shenandoah and festivals in Baltimore, it’s all there and more.”
This week’s edition features the Winter Waterman’s Festival in Pocomoke City … meteor shower viewing in Woodstock … star parties in Virginia Beach … festivals of lights from the Cape Henry Lighthouse to Sandy Point State park to Annmarie Gardens to the National Zoo to Rocky Ridge.
