Chill out at an ­Outdoor Concert

Summer brings local favorites and nationally known artists to Chesapeake Country for open-air concerts.
    Hear music al fresco almost every night of summer at Chesapeake Beach Resort, with concerts ranging from $5 for local bands to $39 for Martha and the Vandellas June 10. The acts play under the half-shell bandstand. Food and drink sold separately.
    Sundays June 7 to 28, hear big bands, classical, country, jazz, rock and more at Downs Park, Pasadena. Bring lawn seating and a picnic (but no alcohol); leashed dogs welcome. 6-8pm. Free: 410-222-6230.
    Sundays July 5 to 26, enjoy a variety of music in Londontown’s ornamental gardens overlooking the South River (rain or shine). Bring lawn seating and leashed dogs; food and drinks (including alcohol) sold. 5pm. Donations: 410-222-1919.
    Tuesdays June 9, July 14 and August 11 bring concerts to Chesapeake Beach Railway Museum. 7:30-9:30pm. Free: 410-257-3892.
    Tuesday July 7 and Thursdays June 18, July 7, 30 and Aug. 13 bring jazz to the front lawn at Maryland Hall. (If it rains, concerts go inside.) Bring lawn seating; picnics welcome; Refreshments sold. 6-8pm. Free: 410-263-5544.
    Thursdays June 18 to Aug. 20, local musicians play Annapolis Maritime Museum. Bring lawn seating; no coolers. 7-8:30pm. $10: 410-295-0104.
