Join the 27th Annual Fannie Lou Hamer Awards Reception at the historic Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, 801 Chase Street, Annapolis, Maryland. Join Mzuri Moyo Aimbaye, multi-award winning playwright, actress, and internationally acclaimed vocalist as she performs her transfixing one-woman play, The Fannie Lou Hamer Story, to commemorate phenomenal women who are receiving the prestigious 27th Annual Fannie Lou Hamer Awards. Each year the event, sponsored by the Martin Luther King Jr. Committee of Annapolis, recognizes women from various racial backgrounds, who like the late legendary icon Fannie Lou Hamer have made a difference in their community.
