Have you ever wondered what type of critters are living just under the water in the Chesapeake Bay? Join a ranger and a marine biologist for a hands-on educational experience sampling the estuarine ecosystem of the Chesapeake Bay. We you’ll pull a seine net through the water and you’ll help identify the animals that make the bay home while we talk about how these critters interact and the importance of estuaries like the bay to our way of life. Kids will get excited about science and the natural world as they get a chance to handle fish and inverts safely, watch them interact in an aquarium, and both do and learn about the science of the bay!
