Free State Fly Fishers Monthly Hands-On Session

Mark Bange’s “Kayak Fishing in Local Waters” class (includes group lunch)
Mark Bange will present a specially tailored version of his Kayak Fishing in Local Waters course which he has taught at Anne Arundel Community College. This club sponsored event, free to FSFF members and all visitors, is part of a continuing series of club sponsored Saturday sessions focused on hands-on demonstrations of all aspects of fly fishing.
During his presentation and demonstrations, Mark will cover the following:
Why fish from a kayak
Kayak choices—how to select the best boat for you
Gear—ancillary and tackle
Lures and flies
What you’ll catch locally
Kayak fishing tactics
Safety essentials
Local kayak fishing areas—specific places nearby where you can launch
