MC3 will present a solo exhibit by Sunhee Kim Jung, Haven for the Soul which is made up of a 17 paintings series.

For the past year Sunhee had a feeling that she was isolated on a deserted island due to the pandemic. Ironically, she was able to find some peace in the middle of the isolation.

Sunhee explains, “A deserted Island is a mysterious place and it certainly can be an isolated location but it can also be a shelter where people can find rest and peace. The paintings in this exhibit represent that place. Each leaf, having its own unique color, symbolizes all different emotions working together harmoniously. Creating a haven for the soul”.

The exhibit will run at the MC3 Gallery from March 3 – April 7th. A reception will be held on Friday March 11 from 6-8 PM.
