The Bowie Police Department is thrilled to host the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics each year. We support the incredible athletes of Special Olympics and are honored to carry the Flame of Hope through Bowie, Maryland. Registration is now open for this group fun run. The Special Olympics LETR’s committed purpose is to raise awareness and funds for the athletes of Special Olympics Maryland. As such, the Torch Run is never a race, but a friendly run with a single goal in mind.
