“Captain Thomas Watkins, Civil War soldier from Davidsonville” This talk is about Thomas Watkins, a local Davidsonville boy, who joins the Union army in 1861 at the beginning of the Civil War. The story is about his military career and how he was murdered in his home in Davidsonville fifteen days before the war ended.
