National recording artist, Nora Brown performs on Saturday evening at one of Maryland’s most unique venues, Whites Hall (Johns Hopkins’ Birthplace). She’ll be playing on “The Back Porch”, of the circa 1770 home, which sits on 14 acres in Crofton (technically Gambrills).. Come and relax in the back yard of one of Maryland’s most historic properties. Bring a lawn chair or your blanket. Beverages will be available. Local singer, Daphne Eckman, will kick off the evening at 5pm, followed by Nora Brown at 7:00. Nora has recently appeared at the Newport and Philadelphia Folk Festivals, The Kennedy Center, and performed for NPR’s prestigious Tiny Desk Series.
