The Solomons Island Yacht Club will hold its annual Blessing of the Fleet Sunday May 16th. All boaters are invited to participate. Those interested should form up in the Patuxent River off Solomons Island at red 6A by 2:30 PM. Following SeaTow, proceed upriver past the Solomons Pier to the Blessing boat, MV Turtle Island. Deacon Geiss of Our Lady Star of the Sea will officiate. Boats should then pass in review of the Yacht Club Bridge aboard the museum boat, the Tennison. Please monitor channel 68 and 16 for assitional directions.
