Tuesday, the music department presents students of pianist Brian Ganz in their end of the semester solo recitals featuring the music of Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt and others (8pm). Wed., Ganz will offer his final PianoTalk of the semester, performing and discussing the beloved Pathétique Sonata of Beethoven and works by Debussy and Ravel (3pm). Thurs., Ganz joins students in a recital of collaborative works for multiple pianists and for voice and piano, including several movements of Gustav Holst’s The Planets arranged for two pianos by the composer (noon).
