Creativity First will hold a Summer Drama Camp July 27 – July 31, 2020 at The Creative and Performing Arts of South County located in Edgewater, MD.
During the week-long program students will work with a professional teaching artist to develop basic acting skills and create an original performance! Students will:
• Participate in fun drama games
• Learn to use the 5 Acting Tools and Skills – Voice, Body, Imagination, Cooperation and Concentration
• Explore how to set a scene, create characters, and perform a story using minimal costumes and props
• Collaborate with their fellow actors to create an original drama inspired by a myth, fable, or fairy tale
• Present their original drama to their family and friends on the last day of class
Camp is from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm for ages 4 – 12. $160 per child
