The Benefits of Gratitude & Positive Affirmations
April 3, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
FreeThe purpose of this discussion-based learning workshop is to increase participants’ understanding of the benefits of gratitude and positive affirmations and how they can impact our spiritual and mental well-being. This increased understanding will help participants to make sense of how our spiritual and mental well-being impacts the other areas of our lives which are not independent of each other.
By the end of this workshop, participants will:
1) Learn the different names used for positive affirmations and identify examples of affirmative prayers;
2) Be able to explain at least two of the seven scientifically proven benefits of gratitude;
3) Become familiar with the framework of the eight dimensions of wellness and recognize that all areas of our lives are not independent of each other; and
4) Have an increased understanding of the benefits of journaling.
