Historic Annapolis welcomes Gregory Nedved, Historian for the Center for Cryptologic History, to the Virtual Lecture Series for a special presentation – with Revolutionary War stories that you probably have never heard before!

Nedved will tell the cryptologic story of the American Revolution. Learn, for example, how cryptology helped win the battles of Saratoga and Yorktown. Hear about of the exploits of spies such as Edward Bancroft (British), James Lovell (American) and Benjamin Tallmadge (American). Finally, get a simple introduction to cryptology, American Revolution-style.
