In this 60-minute program for children, we will learn about a 1783 flag designed by Annapolis cabinet maker John Shaw as well as flag designs from colonial America, the American Revolution, and the early United States. Children will listen to a story about American flags and then will have the opportunity to create a flag of their own design.
