Weekends on the Chesapeake

It’s not a stretch to label the Chesapeake Bay one of the most amazing estuaries on the planet.  Its riverine north-south main body is dotted with tributaries affording anchorages galore.  Each waterside town has a history and culture all its own. From the high key pace of the cosmopolitan upper Bay to the sleepier pace of tide water ports and the lower eastern shore, there’s a lifetime’s worth of landfalls to explore.  

Also this weekend, ASOS will offer for the first time a two-day Great Loop/Inside passage (Intracoastal Waterway) course.

This two-day class is designed to benefit recreational boaters who are planning the Great Loop or Inside Passage or who just want to learn about the amazing options with this type of cruising.  We will talk about each section in terms of where to go, what to do, and mistakes made along the way.  Join us for an informal discussion that will help you plan and enjoy the kind of trip that many boaters put on their bucket lists.
