How Do You Spend Your Snow-Day?
Snow. You know it’s coming.
Sometime this winter — if not this month, the next or the next all the way up until March — we’ll hear the message that schools are closed due to inclement weather. Students rejoice. Parents sigh.
How do you spend your snow-day?
Will you watch classic movies when you aren’t shoveling the walkway? Challenge the neighbors to a snowball fight? Check on elderly family and friends?
Bay Weekly wants to know how you spend your snow day.
“I make doughnut holes as a special snow-day snack,” Bay Weekly staffer Susan Nolan writes.
“The recipe is simple. I make pizza dough, cut it into bite-size pieces and deep-fry them. I roll them in powdered sugar while they are still hot and my family eats them warm with hot chocolate or coffee. If neighbors are home, I send my children to deliver a batch.”
