Live Casino Donates 350 Turkeys to Food Bank

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland kicked off the holiday season by donating 350 turkeys to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank. The contribution continued the annual tradition of providing support to feed families in need in Anne Arundel County. Anne Arundel County Food Bank team members, Community United Methodist Church, Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland team members and community volunteers helped unload the turkeys and ready them for distribution. 

“We are grateful for Live!’s continued dedication to supporting our mission to alleviate food insecurity and for all of their community service efforts in Anne Arundel County, particularly during a time when inflation is hitting families especially hard,” said Leah Paley, CEO of Anne Arundel County Food Bank. “Food prices are high and having the ability to provide these turkeys and other items to our neighbors in need will make the holidays a little more special.”

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland representatives started the morning around 7 a.m. Friday, loading trucks and delivering the turkeys to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank. On-site volunteers supported the initiative by helping load the turkeys and other items onto their vehicles for their upcoming holiday food giveaways.

Casino & Hotel Maryland. “The Anne Arundel County Food Bank plays such a vital role in our community, and we are grateful to see first-hand the impact of our longstanding partnership.”
